Never really wanted to try.
Didn't see any reason why?

Stand up straight!
Look me in the eye!

What for?
Where is my joy?

Why should anyone,
Make the effort?

Too much trouble.
So many tears.

But then you stop!
Turn, and now you see.

It's not in the taking.
Which gives the glow.

It's in the giving,

SILENT SONG
There is a silent song,
Heard by only a few people,
At a time.
The song comes in times of trouble,
It touches the heart, and
Brings joy when needed.
Others, who have pain, can
Listen to this silent song,
And catch hold of strength.
Strength to endure their pain.
Others who are lonely, can
Listen and the song will come to them.
Giving them the presence of compassion.
The song is universal and
If you listen closely,
When you need it, you too
Will hear the music, of
The Silent Song.
