Sing, she heard someone shout.
She looked around, but no one was there.
Sing! She heard it again.
To ask the question, what, she wanted.
But there was not a soul to answer.
Once more, the strong voice shouted.
Sing! Be silent no more!
Her mind was willing, but no sound came.
Deep within, there was a yearning.
To obey, but what would her song be?
The struggle was intense, then,
Out of nowhere, she heard a sound.
"I'll sing for joy, for sadness, for
All that I am! I'll sing,
For my very existence, I'll sing!
For my voice, as it is,
Should and will be heard!"
And thus, finally, she sang.

Finally!
The Train! The Train!
Someone told someone else,
And before you knew it,
The whole town was buzzing.
The word was, that
A train was coming through town.
Not going to be many seats,
First come, first served.
Not a lot of time,
To make up your mind.
The train would be stopping,
All those prepared and ready,
Would be given a seat, until
All seats were filled.
What is your pleasure?
Take the train without regrets,
Or be content where you are?
Not much time now,
You can just about hear,
The train's faint whistle.
Your turn! Decision time!
In a little while,
The train will leave the station.
Won't be back until,
It's adventure time once again.
Who knows when?
Decisions, decisions?
Will this be your train?
Dusting Off The Mirror!
Dust off that mirror!
So that you can see.
The real, clear picture,
Even what you don't visably see.
Dust off that mirror!
Force yourself to see.
Stop hiding your eyes,
And for goodness sake,
Closing your ears.
What good will it do?
To keep walking blindly.
So, dust off that mirror,
Then you may see.
And have the ability
To make much better use,
Of your valuable,and
Very, very limited time.

Things!
Things are not always as they seem,
Two people can look at the same situation,
But see an entirely different picture.
Arrive at a totally different conclusion.
Because the mind contains a myriad,
Of different experiences, reflecting on
Many, many times, places and things.
So, when viewing a situation,
That you may not quite understand,
Try another view point, give it the benefit,
Of the doubt, for at least one time.
Who knows, it may not be what you think.
But then again, it just might!
Just remember, it's all in the game.

The Lighthouse
There is a lighthouse,
That stands tall and straight.
The waters crash, but still it stands.
It shines and shines, throughout the night.
Keeping all the ships on course and afloat.
That beacon of light, for all to see.
Least one runs, upon the jagged rocks.
The light is always, always there.
Even as the weary sailors sleep.
That lighthouse begs to shine.
Cause one never, ever knows,
When a bright light will be needed,
To guide some tired, hapless soul,
To their comforting, waiting home.
