Being yourself should be the way to go,
Being honest, when asked, should work.
But, at times, your all out truthfulness,
May kick you, to the very rear,
But alas, please don't change your style.
In the end, all things being considered,
Honesty, will invariably, hopefully,
Place you, there on the winning side.

...Hi there, Truth and honesty should be the foundation of
communications, but there is that five letter word, that fights to knock, those two words off the table, that would be greed. Think they made a movie about it. In the world you speak of, you run the risk, it sad to say, of being an also ran, if you try to do the right thing, you fight against the tide. The power of the system, backed by dollars or pounds or gold, tends to put truth in a fight with one hand, tied behind its back. Deals and more deals, less and less integrity. Very sad commentary. We still hope for the good to prevail as honesty tries to find the light, so as to shine, in a very gray to dark atmosphere.
