A Few Tibits!

by mornin77 @ 2008-07-28 - 18:15:36

Hey, Well here in the US of A
people are finally getting the idea. They have reduced
their driving by a huge amount, so much so, that it is actually having an effect on the price of gasoline, a gallon of regular gas has gone from $4.10 per, to about $3.98. Keep it up America. We are helping ourselves, by reducing consumption.

Senator McCain, Republican presumtive nominee, gave an
interview, where he used the word understand, some 15 times, he looked as though he was losing it. Meantime
Senator Obama, has come off of a spectacular trip overseas, where he spoke before 200,000 German people, some of whom were waving American flags. He also met with the Prime Minister of England, the President of France, the Chancellor of Germany, military leaders in Iraq and Afghanistan, the King of Jordan, the Prime Minister of Israel, the former Prime Minister of England and other heads of states.
He is now leading Senator McCain by nine points, as Senator McCain puts out an ad saying that Obama does not care about the American troops. Although it was Senator McCain who voted against an increase in educational resources for the troops, so that they would keep serving in the miltary, while Senator Obama voted for the bill. Oh well.

A lady in the United States
was given a plaque and honored as Parent of the Year, for having seventeen children, you read it right, and she and her husband are expecting their eighteenth child. God bless.

Keep smiling!

McCain met Gordon Brown months ago. Both of them had exactly the same amount of time, met and and shook hands in exactly the same room.

...Hi there, Senator McCain went to a lot of
the same places as Senator Obama did. Strange
thing though, nobody paid any attention. I
guess because Senator Obama is the new kid
on the block, and as somebody noted one
German woman said, "what a hunk" :o).
Take care.

...Hi there Skipper & Mrs., you are very
welcome. I am a news junkie of sorts, until
it turns into overkill, and I have to find my
beloved game shows. :o). Take care.
