Poland and the United States signed an agreement, which would allow the U. S. to build a missile shield with Poland. Russia is very upset, because of the timing and their opposition to the shield all together.

Polls have Senator Obama ahead of Senator McCain by one point, another poll has Mr. McCain up by five points over Mr. Obama. It has been my theory that the polls are not taking into consideration, those young people and those who do not use land line phones, and are not contacted by the pollsters. This would effectively give Obama a five to seven point lead over McCain, with a Bradley effect of a minus two points. Bradley was the black candidate running in California with people telling the pollsters they would vote for him, and at the booth did not. Total it up and Obama is at least five points ahead of McCain, at any given point in time. A five point difference on election day is a landslide, according to a renown pollster. I also think that Obama's choice for Vice-President will be announced on Thursday morning. Possibly it will be Senator Joe Biden, according to reports, but it would be great if he shocked everyone and picked General Colin Powell. Could the Universe handle that combination? I think that would be good-bye John McCain. Just a thought ;o)!
