The man who was a central figure in the book, "All the President's Men", written by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein, and who was know as "Deep Throat", has died at the age of 95. W. Mark Felt, was the key person who supplied Woodward and Bernstein their information during the Watergate scandal, "follow the money" was the phrase used throughout the plot of the movie that was based on the book. Mr. Felt identified himself as "Deep Throat", some 30 years after the book was written. Woodward and berstein were reporters at thw Washington Post at the time.
President Bush came forth on Friday to announce that there would be a 17.4 billion dollar loan given to GM and Chrysler, to assist them through March, 2009. The companies must provide a plan of viability or repay the loan by March 31, 2009.
There are requirements attached to the loan, but the incoming administration has the option if changing the requirements, should they feel the need. The temporary Car Czar is said th be Secretary Henry Paulson.
Secretary Paulson, is said to have requested the remaining three-hundred and fifty billion dollars of the TARP fund.
Congress has to make the decision as to whether he receives the balance of the money. Does anyone know where the other half of the TARP fund went?
California's Attorney General Jerry Brown, is petitioning the Supreme Court to repeal the ban on gay marriages, which was implemented, in California, as a result of Proposition 8.
Governor Blagojevich gave a short press conference, on Friday to relate to all, that he would not give up his fight to expnerate himself from all charges. He quoted Kipling, and vowed to fight, and fight and fight. He said he would not be giving in to a political lynch mob, nor would he be going on "Meet the Press" to talk about anything. He is innocent and he will prove it. He wished everyone well and went on his way, without taking any questions.

The skeletal remains of the small child, discovered near the home of the grandparents of Caylee Anthony, the child who disappeared in July of this year, in Orlando, Florida, were determined to be the remains of Caylee Anthony, through DNA. The death was ruled a homicide, no cause of death was stated and according to some reports, because there were no tissue remains on the body, no cause of death may ever be reached. The child's mother remains in jail on suspicion of killing the child.
