A U. S. Airways Airbus made a safe crash landing after taking off from New York's La Guardia Airport for Charlotte, N. C. The plane was reportedly hit by a flock of geese, and two engines blew out. Captain Chelsey B. "Sully" Sullenberger, had a few seconds to decide what to do. The Hudson River was in the middle with residential areas on both sides. According to one survivor, the plane made a slow left bank, and the Captain slowed the plane down as safely as he could, and landed in the water. One passenger said that the water started to immediately rush in through the back of the plane and the seams at the windows. Flight #1549 had 155 passengers and 6 crew members, one infant was among the passengers on board. They all survived, one lady reportedly broke both her legs, other had scrapes and cuts, two were taken to the hospital. The pilot, who saved everyone's life has been flying for 40 years, reportedly since he was in high school. Unbelievable amazing landing of the plane, by the pilot.
