Authority figures on both sides will be trying to reach a more permanent agreement. The President of France and the Prime Minister of England are meeting with others in Israel today to see what can be accomplished regarding the situation.

The Bushes will be at the White House for the final days, this weekend. When the leave on Tuesday to go to the Inauguration
of President-elect Obama, they will only have their suitcases to take with them to Texas, when they leave, as all their belongings have been taken out of the White House, except for their very personal belongings. A moving van will be arriving at the White House at the same time, according to reports, which will contain the Obama's furniture and belongings.

Little tidbit regarding the incoming 44th President. When Mr. Obama graduated from Columbia University, he became involved with community organizing. He and a group of students collected
signatures on petitions, protesting the cuts for student loans in 1984. They took them to Washington, D. C., while there Mr. Obama went over to the White House and looked at it through the surrounding fence. On Tuesday of next week, he and his family will be walking through the front door, of this famous place.

An interview with the White House Counselor Ed Gillespie,
by CNN's John King, on "State of the Union", revealed that there might be one last pardon put forth by President Bush before Tuesday. When asked the question, Mr. Gillespie would not say yes or no, as to a last minute pardon. Who could it be? Scooter Libby perhaps?
