On a more serious note, Israel has stated that it will remove its tanks and troops out of Gaza by the end of the day tomorrow, after President-elect Obama is sworn in, at the inauguration. Is this as obivous to anyone else, that the assult was connected to the ending of the Bush term, that someone knew that a new era of discretion was dawning. that allowances by the Bush adminstration, for bombing and such by Israel would not be as acceptable to the Obama administration and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Or is it just that enough building and rocket launching areas have been destroyed and leaders of Hamas killed, that Israel is satisfied. Or possibly both? Reportedly, over 1,200 people have been killed, destruction of immense degree, many countries have come forth to give funds for the reconstruction of the decimation of the Gaza Strip. Israel will allow massive aid to come into the strip. Prime Minister Gordon Brown, and the French President, will be working through the cease fire agreement, to try to work toward a permanent peace agreement with a two state agreement. Let us be hopeful.

The Secret Service is requesting that only essential employees go to work in the buildings on Pennsylania Avenue. They also want those people working, to close the blinds and curtains in those buildings, and not to stand watching through the windows. The reason, because there will be sharp shooters enmass on duty tomorrow, if the sharp shooters see someone at any window, it could pose a problem for the person at the window, and they will have to be investigated by the Secret Service. At least they won't shoot first and ask questions later.

There will be parking for forty thousand buses tomorrow in the surrounding area of the inauguration service. The Coast Guard will shut down the normal traffic on the waterways. Seven bridges will only be open to buses, no cars tomorrow.
