The former Illinois police sergeant, Drew Peterson was indicted on two counts and arrested today. He is being held on a twenty million dollar bond. Although his 4th wife has been missing since October 28, 2007, he was indicted on murder charges related to his 3rd wife, Kathleen Savio, who allegedly told her sister that her husband was going to kill her, and make it look like an accident. Her body was found in the bathtub, and ruled an accident. Her body was exhumed and after a second autopsy, the desth was ruled a homicide.
The Grand Jury decided after investigating the alleged accident, that there was enough evidence to indict on two counts, one of first degree murder. Mr. Peterson fourth wife, Stacy disappeared, with Mr. Peterson saying he thought she left him for another man. The Grand Jury is still investigating Stacy's disappearance as well. Mr. Peterson has a live-girlfriend currently, whose father spoke to reporters saying that he was happy the man had been arrested, before he could do something to hurt his daughter. He felt that he had set his daughter up to take care of his children, in case he was arrested. He also stated that his daughter did not believe Peterson had killed any of his wives. Oh true love.

According to reports, five hundred thousand Pakistani people have fled the northern part of Pakistan to get away from the fighting between the Taliban and the Pakistani Army. Reports are that it is a humanitarian nightmare. The United States has reportedly sent millions of dollars in military and non-military assistance to Pakistan.

There is heavy fighting between the Taliban and the Pakistan Army in the Swat Valley Region, where the Pakistan Government has decided according to reports, not to deal with the Taliban and to get tough.
