Yesterday an 88 year old man, James Von Brunn, an alleged white supremist and avowed racist, as confirmed by his web site declarations, walked through the door of the U.S Holocaust Memorial Museum, not too far from the White House, with rifle in hand, according to reports, and began shooting immediately. Before he was fully through the door, a security guard opened fire on him, striking him, as the gunman shot three people including the guard. Stephen Tyrone Johns, the security guard was killed, and is being thought of as a hero today, for possibly stopping what could have been much worse than it was. Von Brunn was wounded, and was found half way inside the door of the museum, he is in critical condition at a hospital. The alleged shooter had been in jail for threatening those at the Federal Reserve bank, he was put in jail for six and a half years, at that time. At that time reportedly, his grief was aimed at high interest rates being imposed by the government. Reportedly, one of his recent e-mails read "it's time to kill all the
Jews". President Obama reportedly said he was shocked
by the shootings. Also that we must remain vigilant against prejudice in all its forms.

Story of the Day: Donald Trump got to invoke his favorite words "You're Fired" again, this time by proxy. Miss California, Carrie Prejean, was accused of not honoring her contractual obligations, while making appearances speaking out against gay marriage.
She is said to have heard about losing her position while she was being interviewed on the Billy Bush radio show, she said she knew nothing about it. This all started at the Miss U.S.A. pageant, where she answered a question in the negative, about her views on gay marriage. She was then asked to be a spokesman for a group advocating heterosexual views on marriage and the heat was on. It came to a head when some officials of the Miss California pageant complained that she should be relieved of her duties because of her failure to perform her obligations. One official resigned in protest when Prejean was not told to leave. The Donald held a press conference, loving the attention, and gave Prejean a second chance. This week he agreed with his executive director, Keith Lewis, that Ms Prejean should step down. The second runner-up, Tami Farrell, Miss Malibu took over the position. The young people in Iraq are filling a stadium, voicing their support for the opposition to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Tens of thousands are said to be protesting the incumbent president. The support for the president reportedly began to shift after there
was a public debate and some say, President Ahmadinejad made a fool of himself, when he in one instance showed charts that depicted the inflation rate at 14% when it is actually at 23.6%. Others complain that the unemployment rate has risen under
the president, while others are happy because he has helped the poor and middle class, by increasing their pensions and government wages. The economy is the problem, many analysts say and with high unemployment at 17% and inflation rising, the economy may collapse. Some are reporting that there is an unprecedented
sense of political freedom which is marking tomorrow's election in Iran. The President's rivals are also pushing for better ties with the West.
